At Yoga Power Spirit we share a physical practice to strengthen the body, shed toxins and become more flexible to create space in the body and therefore in the mind. We cultivate an inner listening, which inevitably leads to a more peaceful life.
The practice of yoga is a personal journey, even though we all share each other's energy in the room. Our 6' by 2' mat becomes a mirror, a reflection for us to see clearly what we need more of and what we need to let go of. Releasing anxiety, stress, shame, and guilt whatever is weighing us down. We break old habit patterns (samskaras) and create new ones in order to recall our true nature with faith, compassion, trust, ease and love.
Practice daily or as frequently as your schedule permits. Our classes will transform your body, your mind and spirit. In order to reap the most benefits, come in often; at least three times a week. If you are a beginner or a seasoned practitioner, yesterdays practice will not serve you today. Stay in the present moment on your mat and receive the gifts of yoga. The present moment is all we have, with our feet rooted in the earth and our hearts soaring in the sky. Ultimately our practice will lead us to happiness one breath at a time.
